if I am correct, openERP is installed by default at:
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openerp/
If you want to modify things in that location, you have to use sudo, or change to su.
From where you install openerp in ubuntu?post here
/opt/odoo/addons
Try commands:
locate openerp in ubuntu terminal. It will lists the files of your required odoo version.
Thanks!
In ubuntu 18 "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/odoo/"
There should be an other folder where to find your addon under "/usr/share/"
Try these commands:
which openerp-server
or
whereis openerp-server
