You can use the new dispatch management system in Odoo 17.4 by following these steps:
Go to Fleets and create your Vehicles and the Categories for them. You can also set the Payload Capacity and Max Volume for each category:
2. You can also go to your internal locations and create your Dock locations and mark them as dock location:
3. Create your products and set the weight on them:
4. Create your sales orders:
5. Then you can go to your delivery orders and create a batch:
6. You can select which one of your vehicles you will use to transfer the products and you decide whether you're moving the products to a specific dock or not. You can also see how much of the capacity of your vehicle has been filled:
7. You can manage your batches by clicking on the three dots on the operation type delivery orders and click on manage batches:
8. You can also manage your dock dispatching by clicking on the three dots on the delivery orders operation and then click on dock dispatching. From here you click and drag your batches to arrange them in different time slots or vehicles:
9. From the batch itself, you can also click on the Map button and navigate through Google Maps:
10. From the batch itself also, you can find the information for each different transfer that was included in this batch:
11. Once you are ready to validate the delivery of the batch, you can click on Validate:
