Install your own modules in Odoo

Question

I have created an Odoo module but it does not appear in the list of applications. I have entered the created module in the addons folder but it still does not appear.

Hello,
To fix your Odoo module not appearing in the apps list:

*Check if the module is in the correct addons folder* and ensure Odoo is configured to include that directory (addons_path in odoo.conf).

*Verify the __manifest__.py file* has installable: True.

*Ensure the module has a valid __init__.py* file.

*Restart Odoo* and *Update the Apps List* (enable Developer Mode if needed).

Hi,

1- Enable the developer mode.
2- After adding the module into the addon, you need to click on the 'Update App List' In the Apps.

3- Then, refresh the window.
